Hello! We are the Robo Raiders Team #21386!

Our Story

Like rubbing a matchstick to a matchbox, our team was constructed instantly when a robotics student and mentor reached out to others in hopes of participating in the FIRST Tech Challenge. Though our initial stages were centered primarily online, our first meeting was hosted in July of 2022. Since then, It has been our team's passion to think, innovate, automate, test, and - most importantly - enjoy the wonders of robotics.

A team with ambition is one that is constantly striving to improve its performance in FIRST competitions. Our team is always looking for new ways to win and seeks to improve its skills. We are never satisfied with just being good, instead, we strive to be the best.

Arnav Doshi

Team Captain

Arnav Doshi is an 8th grader at Quail Valley Middle School and is tea captain. He has had a love to work with robots and has worked with Arduino, Mindstorms EV8, REV, Tetrix, and GoBuilda Bear kits ever since he discovered robotics.. Arnev has honored his robotics skills in many competitions, like FLL and an annual district competion in which his team got 22nd place. Arnav is also an acid programmer, knowing how to code in scratch, python, java, and HTML & CSS, her also enjoys math and science. Aside from academicss, Arnav enjoy playing chess, cricket, and baskball.

Aditi Aryamane

Programming

Aditi Aryamane is an 8th grader at Quail Valley Middle School. Growing up, she was always interested in coding, as well as building with Legos. Aditi has participated in multiple competitions, such as FBISD Coding Competitions, TMSCA, and now FIRST Tech Challenge. In her free time, she loves to play clarinet, piano, and read books.

Arnav Shetty

Build Team

Arnav Shetty is an 8th grader at Quail Valley Middle School. He has loved to work with Legos since he was a kid and grew up finding a interest in robotics. He is an avid programmer, being an expert in python. Aside from robotics, Arnav likes to play the piano and play tennis.

Arush Kankanala

Programming

Arushsai Kankanala is an 8th grader at Quail Valley Middle School. He has experience in Python and a little bit of Java. He loves robots. Aside from robotics, he likes to play tennis, videogames, read books, and plays foosball.

Pranav Sirur

Build Team

Pranav Sirur is an 8th grader at Quail Valley Middle School. Pranav has always loved robots and has loved building Legos since a young age. Pranav has experience in CAD and likes to design the robot and various other items. Aside from robotics his interests include math competitions, playing tennis, and playing the cello.

Vriti Mirchandani

Programming

Vriti is an 8th grader at QVMS and shows significant interest in robotics. She has experience in Python and Java coding and has worked with robots in the past. On the sidelines, Vriti participates in badminton, dance, debate, cello, various academic competitions, and volunteers her time to serve her community.
